IMFW 2026 is the third international workshop dedicated to the topics of microwave filters for both the academic and industrial communities. The workshop was first initiated in Perugia, Italy, in 2021 and has since grown to become a major event organized by the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S), reaching its full potential in Cocoa Beach, FL, USA, in 2024. In 2026, this biennial conference will expand its reach to the largest continent, which is home to the largest microwave filter industry. This conference presents an excellent opportunity to bring together researchers from both industry and academia around the world, allowing them to share the most recent advances in filter theory, technology, and manufacturing issues. What sets this conference apart is its strong emphasis on the interaction between industrial expertise and academia, achieved through organized industry forums, hands-on tutorials, and industry receptions. The event features parallel short courses and industry forums focusing on electromagnetic resonator and acoustic wave resonator microwave filters. Attendees will delve into synthesis theories, design technologies, and manufacturing challenges. The workshop boasts prominent keynote speakers from key industries such as wireless, space, and emerging consumer electronics. These industry leaders will discuss market trends, technological challenges, and opportunities, providing valuable insights for all participants. This conference is particularly valuable for those interested in fostering a close industry-academia interaction.

The workshop is financially sponsored by IEEE MTT-S, and administratively co-organized by The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
